Installation Guide

Tools & Materials Needed: Spirit level, tape measure, fine-tooth saw or Stanley knife, adhesive (PVA-based or specialist panel adhesive), silicone sealant, cloth, pencil

Preparing the Surface:

1. Clean thoroughly, removing dirt, grease, and any loose debris
2. Make sure the surface is dry, flat, and free of holes or cracks (fill as needed)
3. For porous surfaces, apply a primer coat using a PVA solution diluted 1:5 with water
4. Use a spirit level to confirm the surface is level

Steps for Installation:

• Measure and Plan: Take wall measurements, plan your panel layout to reduce the number of cuts, and begin at the wall's most visible corner
• Apply the Adhesive: Spread in vertical strips spaced 10–15cm apart across the back of the panel, with a continuous bead along all edges
• Fit the First Panel: Position in the corner, check it's perfectly vertical, press firmly into place, and wipe away any excess adhesive
• Add Remaining Panels: Line up the tongue and groove joints, slide panels together carefully, keep consistent spacing, and check levelness as you go
• Cutting to Size: Always measure twice before cutting; use a fine-tooth saw for straight edges, or score with a Stanley knife for a clean break; cut with the face side up
• Finishing Touches: Apply silicone sealant to all edges (particularly important in wet areas), fit any trim pieces, wipe the surface clean, and leave for 24 hours before exposing to moisture

Helpful Tips: Let panels acclimatise for 24 hours prior to fitting, install within a temperature range of 10–25°C, ensure all edges in wet areas are fully sealed, and note that panels can be fitted directly over existing tiles provided the surface underneath is stable

Care Instructions: Wipe down using a soft cloth and mild detergent, steer clear of abrasive cleaning products, and reapply silicone sealant to wet-area joints once a year
